Skilled Nursing
Fully licensed as a skilled nursing facility by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), the Health Care Center at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community offers a full array of skilled nursing services.
Individuals may be admitted directly into the facility from their home or hospital, as well as from the resident population of Martha Franks.  Private pay beds are available in both private and semiprivate rooms.  All of the healthcare beds are dually certified for Medicare and Medicaid. 
In addition, Martha Franks offers a Medicare approved short-term rehabilitation program for those who need physical, occupational, respiratory, and speech therapies.  Other services offered are radiology, laboratory and podiatry.

The Special Needs Dementia Unit, in its own secure wing creates a relaxed, homelike atmosphere for residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementia related disorders. A highly trained and specialized staff offers progressive, state-of-the-art therapies and programs to suit those needs.
