Security and Safety

Residents feel safe and secure with their own electronic security systems in the cottages and patio homes, and well as motion sensored lighting outdoors.

  All areas include 24 hour nursing call systems which are strategically placed in bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.  The nursing staff have their own golf cart complete with oxygen on board.  They are able to reach an emergency situation quickly and provide quality care if needed.

 The full-time security team also patrol the campus to help ensure the safety of our precious residents and their belongings.

The staff at Martha Franks take great care to provide the most safe and worry-free environment possible for the residents.

Streets, hallways and rooms are well lit.  Doors to common areas are locked at night, with a voice call box for residents and visitors coming in late. 

Martha Franks meets DHEC standards for fire and safety drills.  Fire doors, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, evacuation plans, emergency generators and supplies help to reinforce this factor of safety which is so important to us here at Martha Franks.
