Food Service

What’s for supper?  Yes, food is important wherever you live.  The food service team is superb: Often friends and family members comment that Martha Franks has exceptional food service.  For those in independent living, meals are prepared fresh each day and served buffet style in the main dining room.  There is always a salad bar, several meat and vegetable choice, and desserts, which include soft-serve ice-cream five days a week. Our food service director is careful to include sugar-free desserts and healthy choices to meet the needs of those careful about their diet. Then, the kitchen team takes care of the dishes.  No cooking and certainly no cleaning up! 

A wonderful variety of meals are also served in the health care dining room and in the assisted living private dining room. Staff members are very attentive about assisting at meals and offering to carry trays for residents.  Often, there are cook-outs, watermelon snack times, and special cakes and desserts for birthdays.

Coffee, tea, juices, water and fruit are always available in the main dining room.  Those in cottages, patio homes and apartments enjoy one meal of their choice daily and those in residential, assisted living and health care enjoy three meals each day.
Extra meals can be purchased at a very reasonable amount for residents' guests and friends.
