Our afternoon will begin with a short bus ride from Martha Franks Retirement Community to the Laurens County Museum to explore a special exhibit examining Ms. Martha Franks’s life and ministry. While there, you will have an opportunity to hear from our residents about their experiences living at Martha Franks.

After returning to the Retirement Community, you will step back in time as you tour “The Historic Villa,” a living testament to our rich history, built in 1859. With its intricate beauty and artisanship, this mansion holds the stories of the five families who once called it home. The day will conclude with a tour of the retirement community, a place that embodies the spirit of Ms. Martha Franks and her enduring legacy.
